Top 10 High-Growth Ceramics Market- Size (2023-2028)

Top 10 High Growth Ceramics Market is expected to witness moderate growth during the forecast period 2023-2028

The Asia Pacific is expected to witness the fastest growth. Division of Engineering and Applied Science, Pasadena, United States of America recently conducted a study on hierarchical porous ceramics via two-stage freeze casting of preceramic polymers. Freeze-cast porous has a broad range of applications such as filters, bioscaffolds, and catalyst supports. However, achieving the desired mechanical strength while retaining sufficient functionality, such as permeability, is a bit difficult.

Hierarchical structures of bridged lamellar pores were prepared via two-stage freeze casting of a pre-ceramic polymer to improve the compressive strength of the SiOC. It has been found that the bridge density can be controlled by changing the concentration of pre-ceramic polymer in a solution and compressive strength was increased approximately threefold.A study was conducted on high–strain perovskite piezoelectric ceramics. High-strain piezoelectric ceramics are used for high-precision, positioning devices. Recent technological advancements have been achieved due to families of lead-free perovskite ferroelectrics: barium titanate, alkaline niobate, and bismuth perovskites. High-strain perovskite materials exhibit characteristics such as high-energy storage, pyroelectric & electro-caloric effect, and luminescent properties because of which its demand has grown in the electrical & electronics industry.

Top 10 High-Growth Ceramics Market Drivers & Restraints

The top 10 High Growth Ceramics Market is a multi-segment market & is likely to grow moderately during the forecast period (2018 – 2023). Electrical & Electronics ceramics is the largest segment in the market among all the segments. It is expected to grow at a CAGR of 5.14%. Electronic ceramics & electrical ceramics are used to manufacture various electrical products, ranging from insulators to semiconductors to highly conductive materials. An increase in living standards in the Asia Pacific, the replacement of conventional metals & alloys with electronic & electrical ceramics, and growing applications of electronics & electrical ceramics in medical devices are some of the factors driving the market's growth. The ceramic coating market is expected to grow at a CAGR of 7.65%. Ceramic coatings are used to provide strength to materials, such as ceramics, metals, and plastics by forming a distinct film on the materials to protect them from wear & tears & corrosion. These coatings are efficient towards high heat resistance and are abrasion resistant. Ceramic coatings include compounds, such as borides, nitrides, and silicates to provide enhanced strength to the substrates and prevent them from breakage. The growth of the market is driven by increased demand from automotive & transportation, energy, aerospace & defense, industrial goods, and healthcare.
